Silo, Spiritual Guide

Mario Rodríguez Cobos (Silo) was born in Mendoza, Argentina, on January 6th,1938. He is a spiritual guide who does not profess any religion, nor is he affiliated to any political party. He lives with his family in a small town near Mendoza. silo

His ideas began to circulate more than three decades ago in different parts of the world, starting in Latin America, and reached North America in the early ‘70s. Today, his Message travels throughout our world, announcing that a new spirituality is being born.

In 1991, the Russian Academy of Science awarded Silo an Honoris Causa Doctorate degree. His written work includes Collected Works, Volumes I, containing Humanize the Earth, Universal Root Myths, Contributions to Thought, Day of the Winged Lion, Guided Experiences, Letters to my Friends, Dictionary of New Humanism, Silo Speaks, and the transcriptions of numerous talks and conferences throughout the world. His second Volume of Collected Works was published in 2002, as well as his latest book, Silo’s Message.

Silo's work has been translated into many languages and dialects. Today it can be found all over the world and is being read by millions of people, many of whom are forming Communities of Silo’s Message in their own cities and neighborhoods.
