The Community of Silo's Message

Silo's Message

Silo's Message refers to both the title of the book "Silo's Message," and the message contained within it. The book consists of three parts: A Book (The Inner Look), the Experience (Ceremonies), and the Path (phrases for meditation).

The text of Silo's Message is available on this website and at Silo.net, where Silo's numerous other written works can also be found. The Message is meant to be intrepreted freely, and is offered to all who wish to use it as they wish in their own environments.

Communities of the Message

People who would like to experience Silo's Message and apply it to their daily lives are invited to meet once a week to participate in the Service and other ceremonies, to study related materials and to share other experiences for personal development . Particiation is completely open and without obligation, and diversity is respected and appreciated.

Since the release of the Message in 2002, groups of people have begun to gather together in these "communities of the Message" in many parts of the world. Any group of people may consider themselves a community of the Message, interpreting the Message and organizing themselves as they feel appropriate, although decision-making by consensus is recommended. The Community of the Message is open to people of all beliefs; individuals are encouraged to explore their own experience as the basis of what they choose to believe and how they approach life and death. Communities are independent and autonomous, and may from time to time come together for gatherings and other events, especially at the regional Parks.

Those who would like to share the Message with others are invited to participate in the Ceremony of Recognition, and to attend a weekly meeting for organization.
